A GLIMPSE OF HER DAILY LIFE

Entrepreneurship never comes easy with meetings, traveling and design projects back to back. Adding to that radio presenting and writing columnists for multiple media platforms requires a lot of time, commitment, and dedication. Managing numerous jobs is very exhausting which directly affects the skin.

SKIN PROBLEMS SHE WOULD LIKE TO FOCUS ON

Ruby has thin, sensitive skin that is prone to redness, constantly traveling, she feels her face is puffy and would want to look a bit firmer. Moreover, she is afraid of treatments which claim to improve her skin but make it worse due to her sensitiveness. Therefore, the CLINIC referred Ruby to skin tightening non-invasive HIFU treatment, it's also suitable for sensitive skin.

HOW THE CLINIC HELPED RUBY FUNG

Ruby visited the CLINIC for her skin tightening HIFU treatment to lift and stimulate collagen production via ultrasound energy. HIFU stands for high intensity focused ultrasound. The treatment penetrates deeply into the skin at temperatures higher than radio frequency, whilst protecting the skin. Not only is HIFU a safe and comfortable procedure but also tightens loose skin, evens out uneven skin tone, texture and minimizes large pores.

How HIFU Works

HIFU Machine

The CLINIC’s skin tightening HIFU treatment penetrates deep into the skin causing thermal coagulation to SMAS (Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System). Target tissue cells are heated to -65*. Thermal heat is created which promotes healing. Such deep penetration was only possible via surgery however it can now be done non-invasively by HIFU.

HIFU Science, How HIFU works

The ultrasound energy does not damage skin cells but in fact stimulates fresh collagen production. Consequently, helps the skin to regain its elasticity providing a firmer chiseled appearance and reduce eye bags. 90-180 days post the treatment stimulates long-term tissues which further tighten the skin and reduce dark circle. Therefore, more predominant results appear after a few months. Each HIFU treatment takes approximately 45-60 minutes.
